I’m originally from Miami, where growing up I was obsessed with Legos and video games, fueling a life-long interest in logic, design, and human-computer interaction. I learned valuable skills in how to build trust and keep the customer happy while putting myself through the University of Central Florida as a salesman of car tires and batteries to stranded motorists. Majoring in Communications, Digital Media, and Sociology, I honed my ability for building and managing creative teams by leading a collaborative of student programmers, artists, and musicians on assignments for large entertainment companies like Universal Studios.
I’ve been a guest speaker at major universities, trade group events, and other venues on topics ranging from the technical to the emotional, like user experience design and positivity. I have also written articles and been quoted and interviewed about creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, online marketing trends, and sales effectiveness for the Wall Street Journal, Direct Marketing News, and other established publications.
